Customer photo review of Sony MDR 7506 Cooling Gel Earpads - WC FreeZe 7506

Very comfortable and very firm. I love the color and the fabric — it's really good quality. As well, it was easier to put on compared to other synthetic leather ear pads which made my day a little easier lol. All in all it's a 9/10 for me (i can't give a 10/10 yet cause it's too early, but i'm liking it a lot so far)

Customer photo review of Sony MDR 7506 Cooling Gel Earpads - WC FreeZe 7506

The Wicked Cushions are pretty awesome out of the packaging. Installation was just fairly easy, if not a tad bit fiddly. Watching the installation video ahead of time certainly gave me more confidence to make a purchase. While its hard to know if the "cooling" helps, they are absolutely more comfortable. As seen in the one photo, the stock cushions were about 1/2 as thick after many years of use. One of the first things I noticed with the Wicked Cushions is that they covered my ears in a much nicer way, and are going to be fantastic for long term use. Recommending them to all my friends.

They fit well and revived my old headphones I hadn't used for about 5 years. They feel good, and don't really get hot. Kinda wish there were more of the visually louder variants for these headphones, but honestly I'm just happy to use my old headphones again.

Sony MDR 7506 Cooling Gel Earpads - WC FreeZe 7506

After being unimpressed with replacement earpads available on Amazon, a quick Google search found Wicked Cushions as one of the top results. There's something to be said about companies that specialize in a niche product, and these earpads are awesome. Honestly, my Sony MDR-7506 headphones have never been comfortable with the stock earpads, but I just tolerated them. After switching to these cooling earpads, I could wear these all day with no problem. Game changer, money well spent.

Sony MDR 7506 Cooling Gel Earpads - WC FreeZe 7506

I have 4 sets of sony 7506 headphones i use in recording studio. Over the years the pads begin flaking off the black covering and it becomes pretty unsitely. I replaced with wicked cushions 6 years ago and have been very satisfied. The time has come to replace again but these cushions did not get flaky and leave residue like the original, they just needed replacing from so much use. Ordered the gel cushions. Very comfortable plus they have different colors so i can tell the headphones apart from each other…handy because i have favorites. Buy these! You will be extremely satisfied. Long time user.

I must say, I didn't know this company existed. I was on the edge of retiring my headphones, due to the cushions. After seeing an ad on Facebook, I decided to give the cool gels a try and immediately contacted my local dj friends to refer them. 🔥
