I got these mainly for my daughter, as she inherited my Mobius headphones. The original earpads were wearing down (even with generally little use) and the leatherette was flaking off. You can see the flaking in the top portion of the headband in my picture.
The cushioning on Wicked pads are just extremely comfortable, and a definite improvement over the original. The fabric covered cooling gel portion that touches the head definitely feels cooler and breathes more, and is greatly appreciated for longer sessions or in the midst of summer heat. Consider this more of an upgrade rather than a replacement!

Very stiff at first, but looks and feels nice after a while of using. Don't know about the gel part as these are so hard to get off so won't even bother.
Room for improvement as for my head, the top should be little thinner.
But i like how deep these are, my ears are no longer touching the inside.
Anyway good replacement for the factory cushions, giving little more life to my headset before it breaks down for good. Then time to switch for Maxwell which i already got replacement cushions from here :)

I’m a 72 year old gamer on Xbox with a Audeze Penrose headset. Wicked cushions feel fantastic. They are worth the money.
I just ordered the Audeze Maxwell headset and when they arrive I will update the cushions.

They fit well & are cooler than the original ear cups. I just hoped they'd be much cooler like my Razer Nari Essential. I'd prefer more breathable material on the outside ring.

The cooling gel is super noticeable especially when you put them on the beginning of each day. It feels so good, they’re very comfortable much more so than the oem ones. They also seem to create a better seal and make a more closed and isolated sound stage for music and games. I honestly wish I bought these much sooner than I did. They obviously will warm up or not be as cool the longer you wear them in a session but it’s still much much less than the original cups do and I haven’t had any ear sweating or anything since using them.

To start i just want to say that as my mobius earcups were getting worn out i needed a replacement, the moreni read the more i decided to give these a try and they EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS which made my day cuz im used to keeping expectations low to avoid dissappointment and finally, somebody delivered, and i got better than what i thought.... please read the rest of my review but when you can buy a set of these to replace your worn earcups for the SAME PRICE as the replacement ones from the company that made your product, buy these not only because they are better quality and far better overall, but also id pay double, triple even what i paid for these for more.... someone is putting their heart into it and is really trying to make a great product and NOT TRYING to overcharge for it..... ive learned from life it the person who makes these products does an amazing job, not only that but reaches out to make sure you liked your product and answer any questions you might have. as for the headphones themselves, at first i was jus going to replace my audeze mobius earcups with new ones, and i liked how they felt (i thought lol) my pair was jus getting worn... then i saw multiple reviews about ppl saying these were way better than what the audeze mobius comes with on it, they even have cooling gel in them.... once i got my first set in and put them on my headphones and then on ny head, it was like a whole other pair of headphones i didnt realize how much more comfortable they could be, maybe cuz i spend 400 on them idk but.... if you have an audeze mobius or any kind of headset with closed ears.... these are the ones... they fixed all issues i had with the mobius being that i found my ear always could reach the inside wall of my earcups... these are thicker and the foams a bit harder but ina good way like it comforms to the side of your head and doesnt touch all over your ears. they are extremely comfortable and youd think that they would get super hot when you see the materials its made from, they are all great quality but it makes you wonder if your head wont get to hot playing.... and whoever made these put thought into them as they have cooling gel inside yhe cusions. not like a my ears freezing kinda way but.., when you try a pir on youll see what i mean they just have a constant cool feeling too them, as tho you jus picked them up and put them on your head and theres no heat buildup, and then it stays that way...... i can honestly say this product EXEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS by ALOT.... if your thinking of replacing yours with these.... heres the voice telling you to pull the trigger, youll be glad you did. thanks to the owner for making these and for reaching out to see how they are liked by your customers.... thats how you create a brand. support him and get your headphone earcups here

MAN ALIVE, my Penrose headset is so comfy and cool, I can now wear them all day, I chose the red camo......so gorgeous and the black clip on base looks way better than the stock blue plastic and incredibly easy to change especially thanks to Wicked Cushions for the demo. Perfect fit on my Penrose. Cups are deeper than the originals so my ears don't toch te insides. Also fit more comfortable and snug and due to the used material less sweaty than the original. Highly recommended!

This is my 2nd set of wicked cushions. I’m so happy you started carrying them to fit the Audeze headphones directly. I had to improvise with the first set, but they still were better than stock. I splurged on the freeze version this time, and my ears do stay cooler during long sessions

High quality replacements for the stock earpads that:
- Are slightly thicker
- Have a soft fabric layer on skin touching surfaces
- Are a perfect fit for the unique earpad setup on Penrose headsets
Even if my stock pads were in perfect condition, I'd replace them with these. They improve the both sound quality and comfort, in my experience.

3/5 Stars. The cushions shipped a week later after the shipping schedule informed me via email, which is fine. I paid $5.00 for shipping, but they mailed a slower USPS option Lightweight Mail that took 2 weeks to get to my door. Unfortunate since they made money off my shipping instead of opting for the faster First Class Service. When emailing CS regarding the speed, they seemed very dismissive and I was incorrect. Minus 1 point for that.
Got the cushions in the mail, the quality seemed nice out of the box. The ear cups are deeper than the OEM Penrose ones, and at first they really cool you down and make a good seal around your ear. However upon receiving them, they wouldn't attach to my Penrose. There was double sided tape they use in construction blocking the tabs on the top of both earcups (see attached picture). I was able to use a fine bladed exacto knife to remove the adhesive, but if not for that and some of my time I wouldn't have been able to attach them to my headset. Minus one point for execution, they should clip on right out of the package.
Other than those 2 hiccups they definitely seem like an upgrade vs the original and I would purchase again as long as these hold up over the next year or so.

I love Wicked Cushions!! I happened upon this site based on a recommendation from Techne (pay that man lol) and he was honestly 100 percent correct. I followed his hack to use the universal Wickeds on my penrose, then when they released the proper ones recently, I was all over it!! looks factory and it is even better now then they were with the DIY style I had before. i also got a pair for my good friend and his A50s! He is a lifer now too!!

I was pleasantly surprised they included the plastic that clicks on the headphones, from the videos I expected it to be installed by the user.
I also like that it gives much needed depth compared to the OG cushions, my ears don't touch the drivers anymore. This also helped with the crackling caused by air pressure. I have a pretty severe case of crackling since I bumped my head with the headphones on.
It didn't go away but I don't hear it anymore while moving my head around only when I put the headphones on the first time.
I'd say this is a must for these headphones since Audeze focused way more on audio quality than comfort. This fixes that regarding when it comes to the cushions.
