I like these, but probably not as much as I was hoping. Comparisons against the OEM pads using immediate feel and feel after wearing for a one hour meeting. vs OEM Leatherette Pads - not really all that impressed - Immediate feel is that the OEM pads are much cooler upon putting them on - during the meeting I didn't notice any difference in heat over time - sound quality seems different - more outside noise bleeding through (can be good or bad depending on need) - seems to have far less base, almost as bad as the cloth pads that came OEM vs OEM Cloth - WC's are much better than OEM cloth - sound quality is about the same, but outside noise is a good bit less .. though not as good as the leather - WC's are much more comfortable over time, as the OEM cloth earpads get very warm and almost itchy One other note, but this depends on person I would guess. The QC's are thicker, but HyperX is known for having far softer clamping force. I think the thickness combined with the low clamping force is causing some of the sound issues I described, as the bottom of the pads is just not fitting as tight as the OEMS. My head shape might also play a role in this, but they are definitely a different fit with these pads, at least brand new. Conclusion: I think I still prefer the OEM Leatherette pads, but they break down within a year if using for multiple hours per day. If the WC's hold up better then I will consider this a decent purchase, but I might try WC's in leatherette next time ("upgraded gaming earpads"). Even so, these are FAR better quality than a couple of alternative brands. Build quality and fit are excellent. For that, five stars.

Earpads were easy to install and the cooling gel is great in warmer environments. Even though it warms up with time and the cooling wears off, the gel loses heat fast when not wearing the headset for short periods.The earpads are a bit deeper and the fabric that touches skin feels a lot better compared to the earpads that come with the cloud III which is a huge plus for me.

Very comfy cushions, I'm so happy I found out about Wicked Cushion as I was pretty disappointed that the original pads on my HyperX Cloud Alpha were flaking away, and they don't sell replacement pads at all. I'm only taking the one star off from a perfect 5/5 is due to how much more finicky it was to install these new pads onto my headset. The video tutorials helped, but it'd have been better if the person demonstrating it wasn't extremely practiced at doing replacements; what was a trivial placement of fingers/pressure as they worked the pads into the gap, I struggled with it slipping out multiple times. Ended up needing a third hand clamping down on one end and pure luck to get the seal all the way around.

They were easy to replace. There was even a "how to" video to help out, not that I needed it. But good service nonetheless. Earpads themselves are a snug fit both over the headset and ears. The only somewhat negative part is that in the beginning they are cool, but once you wear them long enough they warm up and stay warm. I suppose that's physics cause there's no active cooling...

I was excited for these pads given the larger ear opening, angled pads and general update to the old freeze pads. I don't so much struggle with head as much as I do tightness, and I have large ears so finding earpads that fit is incredibly difficult. What works well: -I have large ears and these fit just fine. No issues with clamp, no squashed ears, and my ears do not touch the speaker piece of the headphone. 10/10 -These stayed relatively cool for 2.5 hour session in 90 degree heat (AC set to 72). Very impressive 10/10 What does not work well (for me): -The new material that touches your ears... just doesn't do it for me. It seems extremely scratchy. I am a bit sensitive to certain materials touching my skin so this may not be an issue for others. I try to go for velour pads just for the softness and comfort. This new fabric feels somewhat hard and stiff. Overall - the new style of these pads is almost perfect. I understand the new fabric on the outside helps with cooling but to me personally if these had velour or a softer material on the outside these would be absolutely perfect.

These pads are premium deserving 4 or 5 stars. Why im giving 3 stars is for comfort. These pads are much larger than stock. So large that they go well above my ear and down to touch my neck very strange. Their size also takes your ear further from the driver making sound distance and direction difficult to read. These pads would be 5/5 if they had a smaller size.

Decent replacements if your pads are falling apart. Not sure if my issues are from these Gel pads or just QC issues. The dimensions of the angled pads on my pair are very uneven, oversized on both sides of either cup. Foam/gel seems to be uneven too. Maybe I expected too much precision for my silly gamer headset.

Does not fit the Cloud Alpha Wireless, even though it fits all the other cloud Alpha's. (as there is not enough flex in the ear pads to get them around.) Should be included in the does not fit category given that this is not on that list and it's not that new of a product anymore.
