My old pads were flattened, and these made my headphones feel brand new. Yes, they change the sound, expect more bass and a tighter seal. However, if you use an EQ (like Oratory1990) and just dial back the 105Hz shelf slightly to compensate for the pads, they sound absolutely fantastic. The comfort is 10/10 with the cooling gel, and the build quality is far superior to the original pads. Highly recommend!

2nd time I've bought a pair now. The first lasted 2 and a half years which is about 2 years longer than any pair of ear pads I got off Amazon. Incredibly comfortable, sturdy, long lasting, never go flat, not until the last day. I had to swap them out not because they went flat but because they had finally torn open and the gel was coming out. Amazing pads.

I have the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 ohm. Delivery to Germany took about 4 days. Installing the pads was a bit fiddly at first, but nothing too bad. Don’t expect any miracles from the cooling effect – for me, it lasts about 30–60 minutes – but it’s definitely noticeable. The earpads are comfortable, even for several hours. I didn’t notice any change in sound. I have absolute pitch, so I’d notice immediately. So, great job! Thank you.

The have to be the most comfortable set of ear pads I've ever used! They also keep temperature in your ears comfy too, they're coolish but they also don't make you hot either. Now sure how long they'll last, but I'm sure they'll do just fine.

Modded my DT990's with a aux jack so I could have a removable cable. I was kind of enjoying the headphones but I found the ear cups to be a little stiff for my liking. I saw these on the WAN show and while I normally don't buy sponsored content I did do it this time. And I couldn't be happier. They are surprisingly cool on the ears. But mostly they're nice and soft and seem to create a better seal overall. Even if the headphones are open back it just seems to provide a better overall experience. Definitely worth the investment.

I bought the ear pads for my Beyerdynamics Custom Studio as they use the same Form factor as the DT770, DT880, DT990etc. I just got them today, so no longtime review. They seem to be high quality and do fit Better than the old pads. IDK if It's because they were worn out, but they definitely the seal way better. It seems to me that the sound improved dramatically because of the sealing. I'm sold, would buy again in the future!

I came to these from the stock velour cushions supplied by Beyerdynamic (2nd set, actually...I use my headphones a lot), and my initial impression after maybe 100 hours of use is that they rock. The velour of the stock pads has a nice feel at first, but it doesn't take long for them to absorb a lot of sweat and oils from the skin, and they are HOT to wear right out of the gate. These cooling cushions from Wicked feel so much nicer during long sessions. They're also more comfortable with my glasses, to the point where I don't notice the pinch where the frames meet my head anymore. Time will tell how they wear, but they are indeed FAR more comfortable than what I was using before. Excellent install videos, too!

Do your products come in pairs?

Why is there no blue strip on the cooling gel earpads I received?

Our cooling gel earpads don’t physically have a blue strip. The blue strip shown in product pictures is just a visual representation of the cooling gel inside the earpads to help customers understand what’s inside.

Will replacing my stock ear pads with Wicked Cushions affect the sound quality of my headphones, especially in terms of bass or noise cancellation?

In some cases our earpads will cause a difference in noise cancellation or audio quality, however our customers have not expressed any concern over this generally. If you are unhappy with the change, please feel free to contact us.
