Order arrived quickly, video instructions were clear and concise. The pads have made these headphones way more comfortable. I found that with the factory pads and the factory headband, the headphones were sitting on my ears instead of around. All I changed was the ear pads and its worlds better. If you find the headphones just a little uncomfortable, give these a try!

These cushions are literally a game changer. I can now forget that i have my Maxwells on. The cool and firm cushions keep the drivers from touching my ears and my head from sweating. I can now Helldive for much longer sessions and stay on comms the whole time. They went on super easy and I was instantly able to feel the difference. It was fun to splurge on some color for a change. Arrived way faster than i expected too. 1 day to Dallas.

Considering I don't like the feel of leatherette, I purchased these for my new Maxwell headphones. The memory foam padding is more comfortable than the original pads, and the fabric + cooling gel component feel great against my head, especially when wearing them for longer periods.
For those also considering sound quality since this is also considered a higher quality headphone, I don't notice any negative effects such as changes in sound signature.
Pretty reasonable price considering the cost of the headphones themselves, though maybe Audeze (Sony-owned now) should consider partnering with Wicked to provide their stock earpads in the future!

Must-buy for the Maxwells. After a couple hours of use with the original cushions, my ears start touching the inner side of the headset, and it's super uncomfortable.
With the Wicked Cushions ones, that problem is solved. The cooling only lasts for about 20 minutes after I put them on, but they still feel amazing

These are much firmer than the original so they are much more comfortable. You want your ear cups to conform, not squish and these are perfectly balanced. They are also deeper cups than the original so my ears do not touch the drivers like they did with the original which is significantly better.

My name is Chase and this product seems very appealing at first glance. However, once I used them my ears were in fact cooked. Per chance. My ears slowly started to fall off and erode as I got frost bite from the insane cooling. I would not recommend if you don't want your ears to fall off. I would definitely recommend if you do want your ears to fall off and want a miserable gaming experience. Thanks gang all daps

First day - Ears start to burn.
Second day - wounds and pus starts to show on both ears.
Photo is from after a week of not using the earcups, the wounds are still visible and causes slight pain and irritation. apparently i got a somewhat allergic reaction to their PU leather which they claim is of high quality.
Doesn't look like they have an all fabric alternative unfortunately, i might have wanted to give that a try instead.
With the chosen use of chemicals in their PU leather and with the choice of no non-PU leather alternative, means for me that i can't give these more than a 2 star review.

Insanely good service. Found them in my mailbox less than 72 hours after ordering & I live on the other side of the world from these guys. They even support a payment method exclusive to my country & auto-converted the payment to euros. They sent me actual videos of the progression of the order & how to install the pads. The pads themselves feel premium and comfortable. Super easy to change from the stock pads & they fit so well it's as if they were always supposed to feel this way. Couldn't believe there was a way to make the Maxwell even more awesome but I'm glad WC proved me wrong!

I got my wicked cushions FAST! The cooling pads for my maxwell headset actually work! Some people say the maxwell headset will get hot after a while due to being closed backed. This is true for the stock pads. The wicked cushion freeze cooling pads will stop that from happening. Even after 3-4 hours of gaming. Great job wicked cushions!!

New Wicked cushions for Audeze Maxwell greatly improved my comfort level while using this headset in addition it now provides more passive ambient noise canceling due to covering the ear fully and distributing the clamping force more evenly around the ear.
Most of all I like the contact surface made of fabric instead of pleather it just so much more cozy.
Being thicker and higher the cushions made it worse to use headset on half of the ear to talk to people.
It is a bit heavier now and clamping force ever so slightly increased.
10/10 I don't ever want to get back to stock cushions :)

These pads are a clear improvement over the stock pads. More comfortable and with cool touch when you slide them over your ears is actually surprisingly nice. Unfortunately, the Maxwell headset did not fit my head so I returned them. When I wanted to return the Wicked Cushions' pads I was not able to (due to international shipping problems) so Wicked Cushions simply just refunded the money to my bank account - and I didn't even have to send back the pads. If that isn't great service, I don't know what is.

Audeze should work with Wicked Cushions to make these the new defaults shipped with the headset. They make my headset significantly more comfortable. They're soft and *way* better at heat control. I'll never go back to the stock ones.

Materials are comfy and way less sweat-inducing than the stock pleather. Gel filling is great, takes a long time to heat up if you store them in a cool temp. I love the extra thickness of the pads too.

I bought these based on a couple of YouTube videos that praised them as excellent upgrade for the Audeze supplied ear pads. I will say the marketing and video instructions from Wicked Cushions are very slick and helpful. As far as build quality they are equal to Audeze not necessarily better in my opinion so I can’t say that are an improvement or an upgrade. If you need to replace your existing pads these work just fine. I paid full price for my cushions and received nothing free from the manufacturer for this review lol.
UPDATE:
After wearing these for a couple of weeks I switched back to the Audeze ear pads. Turns out the Wicked pads not being as thick as the Audeze cause my ears to touch the drivers. This makes them so uncomfortable I have to take them off or keep trying to adjust them while in use. This could be because of my ear shape so you may not have the same issue as me. I lowered them to 2 stars as far as valve and comfort they aren’t even suitable as a back up.

Polite Customer Service. Both items arrived quickly. The ear cushions feel high quality with a perfect blend of sturdiness and softness. Due to the nature of the headband design stretching' at the adjustments points seems difficult to avoid. This item may benefit from a metal or brass ring pressed into these locations. This may reduce how quickly the material stretches at these points. I haven't used the items yet as the headphones are on backorder. I will be more detailed once I use the products.

Stays cool enough to work outside on a sunny 75°F with only light moist sweating that forms on the outside leather like fabric part. Otherwise it's perfect for getting the drivers off your ear, and staying cool long term indoors. Easy removal and placement allows you to take them off to cool them in the fridge easily if you choose to. Works great overall!

Big soft and comfy. Deeper than the standard cups on the Maxwell. Keeps my ears off the back plate. Cool to the touch upon immediate use but do warm up to body temperature after a few minutes. Cant speak to longevity yet but seem firm enough to last for some time.

great sound for a wireless headset. it's not a good wired set paired with a good DAC and Amp but it's great for the category and so much more convenient than being wired. soundstage and imaging is great, I'm almost always able to locate enemies in games purely by sound.

I’d definitely recommend these to anyone! They are very comfortable. They keep your ears cooler during longer gaming sessions. I didn’t notice much of a difference in sound quality. The padding is definitely thicker than the stock pads, which keeps your ear off the inner part of the headphones, but it also does add a slight bit of extra compression. Not enough to turn me off though. The pads do add a slight bit of extra weight to an already heavy set of headphones, but the weight doesn’t bother me at all as the headphones are very comfortable despite the weight. I think the stock pads are already good, but these pads are an upgrade in terms of cooling and padding. I’ll definitely buy again!

These truly make the Maxwell an all day comfort headset. My ears would touch the drivers with the stock cushions making it hurt a bit after a couple of hours. WC completely solved the issue with the added depth and the geo gray looks badass. They aren’t nearly as hot and the price is fantastic. Highly recommended, 5 stars, would eat them again.

I actually think they work pretty good to keep your ears from sweating albeit still warm. Well at least my pair. My main gripe Is that I find that the ear holes are a tad smaller than the original earpads. I wear earrings so it hurts my ears to keep them in for long. I don't really feel the cool gel but I think it's the material. I have some suede brainwaves that I use for my hifiman he6se that keep those cool as intended. I'd like to see brainwaves use that material instead.

Very comfortable, they do get spicy, it takes a lot longer to get spicy on the ears and if you have a fan set them in front of on a gaming break and they'll get cooler quickly. Plenty of room around the ears and very soft and conforming to the head, some people may need to readjust their fitment because they are larger, mine did not need adjusting

The extra padding is fantastic, didn't cause any excessive clamping force for me. The angled shape is a nice fit on the head, so it's good they kept that from the original design.
First time having cooling gel in the pads. They add to the cushioning, and I find the heat distribution to honestly be more helpful than I expected.
Finally, the main reason I purchased these was the sport fabric contacts on the pads. It's soft and breathable, and it feels like the cherry on top of all that improved padding. I prefer fabric also because PU leather over time gets sweaty, which then leads to peeling. This makes the headset look and feel terrible. Considering this is a premium headset, it made sense to make the ear pads also be the best they could be.
tldr; Great materials and quality, they're worth it.
