Fits really good easy to install. Comfortable to wear for hours. The sound comes clear through, the extra bit of space inside is exactly what they need, keeps the ears cool enough in normal weather conditions. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is a Sennheiser Momentum 4 or Momentum 5 owner. The sweat protection pads are a nice addition to those who like to listen to good quality music with no compromises while doing challenging sports definitely recommended to buy together with these pads. love the cool packaging this item came in. The instructional video for this item was easy to follow and effortless to install. The cooling effect of these are a breathe of fresh air compared to the stock earpads I once had.
Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to either upgrade or replace their old earpads.
Bought as a replacement for my original Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphone pads. The install was very easy, and it’s pretty clear if there’s a gap when the new cushions aren’t fully in place. They feel slightly bigger than the factory pads, and the material seems a bit more durable too. The sound profile also changed by a slight amount, but that’s expected. Well worth it, overall.
Surprisingly comfortable for their thickness. Not so snug as the original but they come really close. Only downside is that there is no headband cover (for heaphones that are notorious for headband issues) to match them 😉.
Excellent manufacturing quality and materials; they are slightly heavier than the originals, but it’s just a matter of getting used to them. I would buy them again.
Sennheiser Momentum 5 Section:
Bought the WC FreeZe Cooling Gel (Black) to replace the stock earpads on my new Sennheiser Momentum 5's and have been using them daily the past three weeks. Typically 30-45 minutes in the morning on weekdays and 2 hours+ on the weekends. The longest I've worn them straight is 2.5 hours.
The sound profile does change and what I've done is change the ANC from 30% Transparency to 50% ANC. Sometimes I'll change the ANC between 50 - 70% depending on the environment but the EQ and other settings remain the same. This part might sound crazy but I've enabled the Bass boost and it completely fixed the sound for me. Anti-Wind Enabled / Immersive Audio Disabled. M5 EQ Settings: 50Hz -1.5 / 100Hz -0.7 / 250Hz +1.2 / 600Hz +0.5 / 1.4kHz +1 / 3kHz -0.3 / 7 kHz +0.7 / 12kHz +1.8. Volume is typically around 45% or more.
The sound change and comfort are absolutely worth the switch from original earpads to the WC earpads. Yes the overall sound is going to change but think of it as listening to your favorite speakers in a new room requiring some EQ changes. Even better, now you can crack the windows so you don't get as hot.
Sennheiser Momentum 4 Section:
Also own a set of the WC FreeZe Cooling Gel (90s Black) for my Sennheiser Momentum 4's for over a year and love them just as much. Completely different experience because the headphones sound totally different to me. We're talking no Bass boost, Anti-Wind Enabled / Transparency Mode set to 50% at all times. EQ Settings: 63Hz -1 / 250Hz -4 / 1kHz -1 / 4kHz +1 / 8 kHz -3 Volume is typically around 40% or more depending on music.
Have not used either pair (M4 / M5) for phone calls and cannot comment on that experience.
I wear glasses all day and these do not cause any discomfort.
I'm using Sennheiser BTD700's (one for each pair of Momentum headphones) on an iPhone, desktop computer, laptop and Switch 2.
I love these Wicked Cushion cooling gel earpads and will continue buying them as needed.
Definitely an improvement over the factory pads. The ones that came with it were way too warm these definitely help cool them off quite a bit. They are super comfortable and still sound really nice they don't impact the noise cancellation all that much either.
I live in a hot humid area and I couldn't wear my Mementum 4's for long periods because they'd cause my ears to sweat and get hot pretty quickly. These pads are a night and day upgrade. It's only been a few days, but these pads have been worth every penny.
Very solid replacements and SO much less HOT than the standard headphones. I've gotten to where I can't wear hot headphones for gaming, etc and absolutely replace all my ear cups with these.
The fit was perfect on every version I've tried and these are my 3rd set I've gotten for 3 distinct brands of headphones. Senheiser, Astro (gaming) and one other I'm spacing on right now. In each case the fitting was perfect.
The replacement ear pads made my HDB630 nicer to wear than the stock ear pads.
Although the stock ear pads were comfortable, they became warm and somewhat sticky feeling on my skin. It was difficult to ignore after 30 minutes of wearing it.
Your replacement ear pads made wearing the HDB630 headphones very comfortable. I could wear it for at least an hour listening to music without distractions. The soft fabric covering the gel foam felt soft on my skin. In fact, I wore my HDB630 for 6 hours listening to music. Although I could with the stock ear pads, the soft leather-like material would become sticky and distracting on my skin.
Would you please make replacement AirPods Max ear pads with the same materials? The scratchy fabric of the stock ear pads are uncomfortable and distracting.

Worth the upgrade from the standard pads. Made my music more enjoyable indoors. Outdoors I would probably switch to stock pads if I want best ANC. 90s color way is cool.

Look great, feel great, fit perfectly, easy to install and, most critically, they actually improve the sound of the already excellent momentum 4. Just exactly perfect in every way. At the price, they are a steal!
I've had these for a little over a month now and they are such a perfect investment for my headphones! The cups are much more open and accommodating to my ears-- especially with all my earrings-- and the fabric is waaaaaaay more comfortable compared to the original cups. Ever since I put these on, I'm so regretful that I hadn't found these sooner!!
Excellent product. You can definitely feel the cooling effect of the gel. Comfort is improved over the stock pads, as there is a little more room inside the ear cups, and I found them to have very little impact on sound signature.
Excellent product. Does exactly what it promises to do. More comfortable and way cooler than the original ear pads for my Sennheiser Momentum 4s. Easy to install, just follow the video directions. Highly recommended!
The good part is that the ear has more space and is more ventilated. The bad part is that the sound insulation is not 100 percent and consequently the sound may suffer a little.
In conclusion, it's worth it. I use them instead of the original ones because they are more comfortable for long periods of time with only a negligible loss of sound quality.
These pads are very comfy and fit well. Most importantly, they add a ton of extra clarity or more specifically treble and upper mids which were "missing" with the original pads. Seriously, if you install these and notice missing bass, just cut the upper mids and treble and you'll be back in business. I love em and I'm glad I switched. They're much cooler to the touch than the old pads.
Very easy to replace. The video they included actually uses the sennheiser momentum 4 headphones to show how to replace. I've had the headphones less than a year and it was already flaking off. Hopefully these will last longer. It's fabric instead of pleather so it feels like it should last.
All our earpads, sweat covers, magnet plates, earbuds hooks, earbuds tips, and shell covers come in pairs. Our headbands, controller skins, and mousepads come as a single unit.
Why is there no blue strip on the cooling gel earpads I received?
Our cooling gel earpads don’t physically have a blue strip. The blue strip shown in product pictures is just a visual representation of the cooling gel inside the earpads to help customers understand what’s inside.
Will replacing my stock ear pads with Wicked Cushions affect the sound quality of my headphones, especially in terms of bass or noise cancellation?
