The product itself is high quality and slips on the headphones well. The cooling gel "cools" and feels nice for couple of minutes after putting them on after that they don't have any cooling function. They were also a bit smaller than the normal cushions for my headphones so my ears don't fit as well and my ears start hurting after an hour or so from the pressure. So unfortunately I can't get much use from them. Good product but something to keep in mind if you find it hard to find well fitting headphones due to bigger ears.

I used these to replace the standard ear pads that come on the DT770 Pros. Overall I think these are a great value and well worth the upgrade as my pads were starting to wear out, and the stock ear pads can get quite warm. Wicked Cushions was also very communicative during the shipping process, clear on what to expect, and gave great instructions on how to install.
I’ve had these cushions for a few weeks now. Initially they let in more exterior noise than the original cushions, but to be fair I’ve had those for years and they have likely molded a bit to my head. I forget what the original out of the box sound experience was, so it’s possible this will happen with any new set of pads. The cooling gel is nice and is definitely noticeable in the first few minutes, until it comes to equilibrium with the skin it is in contact with. I think it’s definitely an improvement over the standard beyerdynamic ear cushions and is priced competitively against them. For a future replacement, I’d love to see the Anthracite style available on the ATH50Xs to be available for this model as well— I think it would look fantastic on the DT700s!
Tl;dr— solid replacement ear covers, worth the $23 USD.

Nice cushions, and easy to put on. My problem is just with the cooling gel. I did watch the video that WC made explaining cooling gel, and how the room around you needs to be cold for the cooling gel to work, but that kinda just makes the cooling gel useless for most people.

Got the cooling cushions and have been really enjoying them the old leather ear ups I had were too hot and these have made gaming sessions much more comfortable. Installation was super easy and the fact that there was an instruction video made the process a piece of cake.

This is my second pair of wicked cushion ear cups. They are excellent replacements. The cooling gel stays cool significantly longer than the standard materials, they do inevitably got warm but that is unavoidable. Even when the cooling gel reaches the ambient temperature the cups are still pretty breathable without adversely affecting the sound stage.

Just replaced the factory cushions on my dt990s with these. They feel very comfortable but there is a very bad effect on the audio quality compared to the factory ones. I am happy I can get more life out of these headphones with new comfortable cushions but I was not expecting noticably poor audio quality

I have had my DT 770 Pros for years.. The leather top band was falling apart so figured I'd replace it and the ear pads. Found Wicked via WAN show and decided to try them. Went with the FreeZe version. They fit nice, easy to install, and so far haven't gotten extremely warm. Though they did add a little bit of extra weight to the headphones. Gets noticeable after a few hours of use. Otherwise they are great!

They are a great replacement for worn out ear pads. The only reason I give it 4 stars is they are a bit warmer then the factory cloth ones after prolonged use but way beter then other pleather headphones I have had.

Revitalized my DT 990s! When I opened my package, there was a card with a QR code directing me to a video on how to install the new ear pads. Overall, it was an easy process and I appreciate how convenient WC made it all! They feel great on my head and the sound quality is unchanged.
A word of realistic caution to anyone who hasn't used this type of product before: cooling gel will eventually get warm. Every now and then, take off your head phones, go for a short walk, get another coffee, etc and then get back to your work. Your ears will feel blissfully cool again.

Bought two sets, one for my DT880s and one for my MMX 300s. I like them on my MMX 300s, less so on my DT880s. Just know that your headphones will sound different.
These are very comfortable--as comfortable as the stock DT880 earpads and much more comfortable than the MMX 300 earpads. The cooling foam is a neat effect which IMO puts them a step above the DT880 earpads in terms of comfort.
However, they changed the sound quality more than I expected. Sound quality is pretty subjective, but they turned my DT880s from a pretty neutral headphone to quite a boomy set with a lot more midbass and a subdued mid- and high-end. Not a bad thing, but not to my taste. The MMX 300s ended up sounding better than stock IMO.

I’ve purchased a few replacements for my Custom Game headset. From Beyerdynamic velour to generic Amazon ones(which hurt and are the worst). Wicked Cushions are downright the softest most comfortable. It’s also very cool vs the stock fake leather. Wicked Cushions are definitely a great value and I know where to go now to keep my Beyerdynamic Custom Game alive

These are some really comfortable ear pads. I was using some Dekoni Audio suede earpads on my MMX 300s, saw an ad for these and decided to give them a try. I was surprised at how soft and squishy the gel foam is. I don't know about the "cooling" part, but I haven't had any issues with my ears getting hot from wearing them too long.
Overall, really happy with these ear pads and recommend them to anyone who wants to upgrade for a more comfortable experience.

Took only 5 days or so to get here from date of order placed, They're really comfortable and lighter than the OEM Ear pads. A little more shallow so good to note if you have larger ears.

My original pads were super flatten and disgusting so decided to try these. These were super easy to install and shipped pretty quick. After trying these out, At first they were comfortable and cooled when putting these on but after an hour or two, they get really hot and uncomfortable. Forcing me to switch to my other headphones. Wished I liked these but I couldn’t bare the heat. And my house sits at 70F 24/7 with my desk fan turned on. No other heat source is affect these ear pads. They just get hot after use which make sense but I can’t handle it heat exhaustion

Packaging is great, cushions are awesome. My old velour cushions have seen better days on my DT770's and needed an upgrade. Love the style I purchased and I had them installed in a couple of minutes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to replace or upgrade. I wish there were more styles to choose from but that's not a deal breaker.

Very soft and comfortable cushions!
Lasts a lot longer than stock cushions (both fuzzy and leather ones) before becoming uncomfortable on hot days, but unlike stock cushions I have yet to experience these becoming too hot or sweaty to wear during longer sessions on warm days. Great product!

Easy to use the shopping interface, and the quality of the replacement pad was AMAZING. Though it wasn't listed at the time, the DT770 pads fit my 2nd Gen T1 just fine. Comfy to wear for longer periods of time, and to me the highs sound a bit sharper, the soundstage a bit brighter. Like it very much. Will buy again.

First off, the quality of the pads are great. Definitely better than the stock, and more comfortable. They say they are ‘cool’ but in reality they’re just cool to the touch for the first ~8 minutes they’re worn. They heat us just as much as anything else that gets pressed up against your head. The one noticeable difference everyone will hear, is that it drastically changes the sound profile. At least for the DT990 Pro’s. It adds ALOT more bass and trims the sharp highs down. Which I honestly prefer over the ear puncturing sound the headphones had from the factory. Beware that you will have to get used to them, but I prefer them over the factory.

Comfort is amazing, I can barely even tell I’m wearing these headphones. Material is great and it seems that the part that touches you has material that doesn’t absorb the oils on your face which is one of my biggest gripes with cushions! Lastly, and the most important, these DO NOT change the sound signature which was a big fear of mine.

Für Nutzer mit ein DT 990 Pro kann ich sie leider nicht empfehlen. Macht den Klang extrem dumpf und basslastig. Ist etwas schade da ich sie als Ersatz für meine 990 gekauft habe. Habe sie jetzt auf meine DT 770 Pro gepackt dort wird der Klang nicht so extrem beeinflusst und man kann sie benutzen. Das Material ist angenehm zu tragen und die Verarbeitung ordentlich. Die lassen sich leichter aufziehen wie die Originalen und halt trotzdem sicher. Der Versand nach Deutschland war super schnell.

The new pads feel really good, as good as the originals, BUT they do not get my sides as hot as the others after long sessions. Immediately could tell the difference in the cooling gel. Super comfortable, can not recommend enough.

The video made it seem like it would be way harder than it was. I don't really feel the cooling gel that much apart from when I first put them on, I can't say heat was an issue with my old pads. I do think it was worth the money I spent, I hope more headphones become supported such as grados.

As much as I loved the softness of the fuzzy pads on the DT 770 Pro, these are just as comfortable, but without making my ears sweat. And they look fantastic. Great product definitely recommend them.

They're pretty stiff at first, but they're more comfortable than the original cushions for a longer period of listening time. I rated a 4/5 because it changed the sound profile, and more ambient noise gets to my ears because the filling is less dense and isolating. The taller profile of the cushions may also be a contributing factor. Either way, I'm keeping them on the headphones for the looks and feel.

High marks for these cushions I have purchased 3 pair so far. I purchased the pads for the DT770 and sat down for about 5 hours to play Diablo 4 and didn't overheat once. The velour that usually comes with DT770's usually makes me sweat around the ear cups. Glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.
