I made 100 % sure to install them correctly, but due to them being much thicker than the original ones, the space between the headphones and the ear is much larger and thats why they actually sound terrible that way. If you press them down so that the spacing between the headphones is arount the same as with the original earpads, the sound becomes much better again. So if you care about sound, don't buy these!

Absolutely love these. I enjoy sound much more than with stock cushions. Probably this is because my old cushions were in bad shape. These are also thicker than stock, and this might be a reason for having more spacious sound. These are also more breathable. As for the anc, I cannot tell if is better or worse.

The cooling gel ear pads for the NC 700 do just as what they’re supposed to. I personally like very thick cushions and this scratches that itch. prolonged use is great without heat issues. And after a conversation with a WC representative, these are more for comfort than for quality and you do lose a little bit of that sound quality for comfort. Compared to the stock ear pads, These ones lose about 15% of sound and gives your sound just a tinge of echo chamber effect or the sound of something Hollow(this is due to more space being between you and the speaker, possibly a different material being used too.) To finish off, the build quality is the best I’ve seen and the instructions are very clear and installation.

Pretty solid. They feel like they will last. I use my headphones at work and they come on and off all day long. They take a real beating. My only disappointment is they sort of sit different to the stock ones in that when I tilt my head or look up they very obviously break contact around my ears and let outside noise in. Other than that they are awesome.

The installere was easy and they are comfortable. However, the sound experience is much worse now. I believe that it is the low notes that are more or less lost now, compared to the stock Bose cushions.

I have always felt that the nc700s were a little hot. My ear muffs were shot so I decided to buy these (left) to replace the original ones (right) and instantly felt the temperature difference. Their instructions are informative and easy to follow. Highly recommended

Perfect fit, VERY comfortable! It's slightly larger than stock, so it needs a bit of a squish to fit in the case, but doesn't affect the cushions.

I work in a lab and wear my headphones gaming with friends. The cooling cushions have made me hugely more comfortable in both my work environment (where I am sometimes wearing them for up to 12 hours!) and while relaxing on the computer. I vastly prefer them over what my bose headphones originally came!

I've had these ear cushions on my headphones for about 3 months and they are amazing! They're comfortable, keep cool, don't get sweaty or smell, and just feel more premium than the OEM cushions. Best of all, the headphones still fit in the zip-up charging case and the tonal balance of the sound isn't affected, at least from what I can tell. They also seem more durable than the OEM ear cushions; granted it's only been 3 months, but so far, so good!

These earpads feel and look great! They feel more durable than the original earpads. Some frequencies such as bass sound great while upper-mids leave something to be desired. I only have a few complaints. The extra thickness won't let you use the original carry case without squishing the earpads. The new earpads have a fairly noticeable difference in EQ when using noise cancelation. I needed to change the EQ with EQ APO as the Bose EQ in the app is mostly useless. I don't notice a huge difference in temperature as compared to the original earpads. Installation was relatively painless with easy to follow instructions. If you are willing to fix or don't care about the difference in EQ, this is a viable option for earpad replacement.
