WC Finance Connector Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to the WC Finance Connector (the “Connector”), an internal application operated by Amzaleg’s LLC, doing business as Wicked Cushions (“Wicked Cushions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Connector allows authorized Wicked Cushions personnel and approved company agents to request and analyze information from our company’s QuickBooks Online account.

Information the Connector accesses

When an authorized QuickBooks administrator connects the Connector, it may access company and accounting information needed to answer an approved request, including company details, financial reports, the chart of accounts, account balances, vendors, customers, invoices, bills, payments, purchases, journal entries, and related transaction details.

How we use the information

We use QuickBooks data only for internal business purposes, such as reviewing financial performance, understanding expenses, answering accounting questions, identifying potential cost savings, and maintaining or securing the Connector.

Read-only design

Intuit’s OAuth permission for QuickBooks Online Accounting is not technically limited to read-only access. The Connector is nevertheless designed to expose only approved report and lookup functions. Its application code does not provide authorized users or agents with functions to create, update, or delete QuickBooks records.

Storage and retention

The Connector does not synchronize QuickBooks financial data into WC Hub or WC Brain and does not maintain a separate database or persistent cache of QuickBooks financial records. OAuth credentials are stored on a company-controlled system. Information returned for an approved request may be processed temporarily in application memory and may appear in access-controlled conversation or operational logs according to our internal retention, security, and legal requirements.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell QuickBooks data or use it for advertising. We may disclose or process it through service providers necessary to operate, secure, and support the Connector, including Intuit and authorized infrastructure or AI service providers, subject to appropriate access controls and contractual obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect our rights, systems, or users.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information handled by the Connector. Access is limited to authorized Wicked Cushions personnel and approved company agents. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Disconnecting the Connector and deletion requests

An authorized QuickBooks administrator may revoke the Connector’s access through QuickBooks Online or Intuit account settings. For questions, access concerns, or requests to delete Connector-related data or credentials, contact us using the information below. We will respond as required by applicable law and our legitimate recordkeeping obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Connector, our practices, or legal requirements. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
